Safe Sitter Classes
When you accept a babysitting job, you accept responsibility for a child’s life. Taking a Safe Sitter class will help prepare you to be a more responsible babysitter. And you’ll HAVE FUN!
Safe Sitter is a medically accurate program that teaches boys and girls ages 11 to 13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children. The program prepares young adolescents for the profound responsibilities of nurturing and protecting children. This class also teaches safe and nurturing child care techniques, behavior management skills, and appropriate responses to medical emergencies.
We will be offering a one-day class on Thursday, June 7. The class will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. Classes will be taught at Decatur County Memorial Hospital, 720 N. Lincoln Street, Greensburg in Conference Room D.
The cost for this program is only $40, which includes class materials, tote bag, completion card and lunch (pizza and drinks). Scholarships are available to those in need.
