The hospital’s Wound Healing and Vascular Center continues to grow and we’re excited to share the newest additions! Our wound care center, led by Dr. Jennifer Fletcher, is expanding our multidisciplinary team with the addition of two vascular surgeons. We are honored to have Dr. Robert McCready and Dr. Thomas Webb join our team of experienced wound care nurses and physicians.
Dr. Robert McCready, MD, is a graduate of the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his surgical residency and fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He has served as an Assistant Professor of surgery at both the University of Kentucky and the Indiana University School of Medicine. In addition to his patient care, he has authored several research papers, book chapters and currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Thomas Webb, III, MD is the co-medical director of Vascular Services at the Franciscan St. Francis Health Heart Center. A graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, he completed his surgical residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital followed by a fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Webb has over 25 years of experience in vascular medicine and is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Creighton University School of Medicine.
The Wound Healing and Vascular Center specializes in the treatment of problem wounds caused by various health-related disorders such as diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, arterial/venous ulcers, crush injuries, 1st-2nd degree burns, radio necrosis (burns from radiation) and bone infections (osteomyelitis). Our wound care experts use advanced modalities like Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, wound vacs and specialty dressings to aid in the healing process and heal wounds, allowing patients to live a healthy lifestyle and do the things they love.
The Wound Healing and Vascular Center is located across from the outpatient/specialty clinic on the second floor of the hospital. Our team works daily to provide specialized programs for each patient as they continue the healing process. Please join us in welcoming
