STAR Award Winner

Please join us in congratulating Will Ollier as our 2025 4th Quarter STAR Award Winner!

DCMH proudly announces Will Ollier as the 2025 Q4 STAR Award Winner. Beginning his DCMH career a little over a year ago, Will is a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Will earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University Columbus and also has a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and Marketing from Ball State University. Born and raised in Batesville, Indiana, Will has been married to his wife, Kelsey, for seven years. Together, they have two sons, Luca, 4, and Camden, 5 months, as well as a dog named Josie. Outside of his role at DCMH, Will enjoys spending time with family, going to the gym, playing golf, and watching sports.
Will’s dedication to his patients and his compassion led to his STAR nomination. When a patient needed assistance getting to an appointment across the street, Will personally escorted them by wheelchair to their appointment and later returned to safely help them back to their vehicle. His nominator recognized this thoughtful act as going above and beyond, noting how meaningful and reassuring the support was for the patient.

For Will, his role as an ER nurse is something he greatly enjoys, working alongside his team in the Emergency Department. He enjoys the responsibility of providing attentive, high-quality care in moments that matter most to patients. He credits the strong foundation he received from his preceptors during nursing school and the early years of his career for helping him grow into the nurse he is today. He continues to build his skills through experience, ongoing learning, and collaboration with his colleagues. For others hoping to follow a similar path, Will shares simple but meaningful advice: “Take the time to listen to your patients and put yourself in their shoes.” Will’s selflessness, compassion, and care for his patients are made evident by his STAR nomination.
