DESCRIPTION:Decatur County Memorial Hospital is partnering with the American Legion Post 129 and Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home to recognize and thank all who have served. \nOutline of the activities on Saturday\, November 9: \n\nAll Youth Invited | Join the ‘Walk with a Hero’ campaign\, a project to incorporate our youth into Veterans programs. Youth are invited to sign up to walk or ride with a Veteran they bring to the parade — or to walk or ride with a Veteran already in attendance at the parade\n10:00 a.m. | Attendees and Veterans can arrive at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home (Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home can allow attendees to stand inside if inclement weather)\n11:00 a.m. | The parade starts at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home and proceeds to the flag poles on the south side of the square\n11:45 a.m. | A short ceremony will be held\nPost-Parade Lunch | DCMH will provide lunch made by CP Tavern at American Legion Post 129 at 326 E Main St\, Greensburg\n\nAll are invited and welcome to attend — No RSVP for lunch or the parade necessary. \n
