GREENSBURG – The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County invites area women to once again be a part of the “Tee Off ‘Fore’ Ta-Tas” all-female “Goofy” Golf Tournament, to be held at North Branch Golf Course from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 15.
This unique event supports the local battle against breast cancer while promoting women’s health in Decatur County, and is now in its fourth year. All proceeds will benefit the Hospital Foundation and its Mammogram Assistance Program, which helps individuals who are uninsured or under-insured afford essential mammograms and other procedures, while also providing education on women’s health to the community.
Attendees are invited to come from 4 to 5 p.m. for registration and a cocktail hour, then stay around for the “Goofy Golf” tournament, a meal, and awards, which will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Players are reminded that there are no golf skills or clubs required for the event—just a capacity for fun, a desire to increase awareness, and a dedication to those who are battling or have battled the disease.
