GREENSBURG – Decatur County Memorial Hospital is constantly working towards advancing the care and overall experience of our patients. With these ambitions in mind, the medical management software we use is no exception. Over the past year, DCMH staff has been training and gearing up to launch its new software. We are excited to unveil our new MyHealth Patient Portal, which will be available to all patients seen on or after April 1, 2016. This interactive web portal will empower you and your family to take a more active role in your care by providing easy, secure access to your health information and online communication with DCMH staff.
MyHealth gives you instant access to your health information, including laboratory and radiology results, medications, allergies, demographic information, visit history, discharge/aftercare information, and more. You can also access billing statements and outstanding balances and submit electronic payments. In addition to handling your own care, parents and health care proxies with authorized consent will appreciate the ability to access the records of those individuals for whom they manage care.
Information on how to log into our new portal will be provided when you come to the hospital or physician practices on or after April 1, 2016.
If you were enrolled in either of our past patient portals (MyHealth for Hospital Visits or MyHealth for Physician Office Visits), you will still need to enroll in the new patient portal. The new MyHealth Patient Portal will allow you to see your upcoming office visits as well as your hospital records beginning April 1, 2016 in one centralized portal! All previous historic information will not be accessible in this new portal.
With this new software in place, we may be asking for your current insurance card and/or other pertinent medical information. This will allow us to keep the new MyHealth Patient Portal as accurate as possible for you and your family.
