GREENSBURG – The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County will again host the Tee Off ‘Fore’ Tatas all-female “Goofy Golf” tournament at North Branch Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 15.
A registration and cocktail hour will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Ladies will then walk the pink carpet, play a seven-hole golf tournament (no clubs required), and enjoy dinner and an awards ceremony before setting memorial lanterns alight at the closing ceremony.
This special and unique event helps support the local women battling breast cancer and other women’s health issues in Decatur County. Now in its fifth year, proceeds from this event benefit the Hospital Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Program and its Mammogram Assistance Program. These funds help ensure that individuals who cannot afford annual mammograms and additional procedures are able to receive assistance. In addition to offering help with these essential health services, the Hospital Foundation also provides education related to women’s health to the community.
Those interested in participating in this year’s Tee Off ‘Fore’ Tatas must register by the end of the business day on Friday, Sept. 8. The cost for a Tata foursome is $260 and individuals may register for $65. Contact 812-663-1220 or visit www.dcmh.net/tata to register.
