| Between 1:00-4:00 p.m. with a Special Presentation at 2:00 p.m. (under the big tent in the south parking lot) | All community members are invited to celebrate with us and enjoy Rusty Bladen Band, appetizers, cake and punch. Children’s activities include Silly Safaris and a Magic Show! |
It can be said that any significant advancement in a community derives from a timely combination of environment and leadership. There are periods in history where great leaders and ideas were ahead of their time and their impact not seen for years into the future. Equally, there are challenging times that require action and great thought, but instead persist until the epiphany arises that unites the community toward collective action, allowing it to move forward. These notions are shared in the following videos of Decatur County Memorial Hospital, an organization continuously advanced by grassroots efforts to meet a community’s needs.
