The Decatur County Memorial Hospital offers a variety of Emergency Medical Services to ensure immediate care and treatment of our patients.

Ambulance Services

Decatur County Memorial Hospital operates 6 ambulances to serve the Decatur County community. These ambulances are used for emergency transport to the hospital’s emergency room as well as transportation to other medical facilities.

Emergency Department

The emergency department is intended for critical care and medical emergencies. Some symptoms that warrant a visit to the emergency room include:

• Chest pain
• Trouble breathing
• Stroke symptoms
• Head injury
• Excessive bleeding
• Broken bone

Well Clinic

The Wellness Clinic is located at the Medical Arts Plaza. The DCMH Wellness Clinic is for immediate care that does not require emergency help. Occurrences that may warrant a visit to the wellness clinic would include

• Cold and flu symptoms
• Sore throat
• Cough
• Sprains
• Small cuts
