On October 28, 2023 DCMH hosted the annual Westport Health & Business Expo at the Westport Community Building. DCMH cohosted this event with the Westport Area Business Association (WABA).
DCMH’s team provided a free flu vaccine, free lunch to all attendees, and a blood drive. Lunch was prepared by the Westport Kiwanis Club. While at the Expo, attendees were able to visit with community businesses and register for door prizes from DCMH and other WABA organizations.
This was the first time the Expo was back at the Community Building since 2019. Many residents were able to walk to and from the event. WTRE was even live on-site to broadcast the event and interview local business representatives
