This year, on October 27th, Decatur County Memorial Hospital will be holding its annual Westport Health and Business Expo. This will be a day filled with fun and information about personal health and wellness. The expo will be held at the Westport Community Building, 205 West Main St. and will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
DCMH will be partnering with the Westport Area Business Association again to bring many different booths and services to you. Some of these services include: free health screenings, safety information, free flu vaccines, a blood drive, door prizes, bounce house, a free Jimmy John lunch and much more. This year, there will also be a costume contest, a pumpkin decorating contest, and candy at each booth for the kids. Be sure to dress in your favorite Halloween costume to be eligible to win!
The American Red Cross will be providing the blood drive for all attendees in the front of the building. Visit redcrossblood.org, and use sponsor code “decaturcohos” to register. The blood drive will be open from 10 am – 2 pm. Walk-ins are always welcome.
