About Decatur County Memorial Hospital
DCMH opened its doors in February of 1922 as a memorial to Decatur County citizens that fought and gave their lies in World War I.  Since then, DCMH has overseen several additions and updates to grow with the needs of the community.  DCMH is a 25 bed critical access hospital in Greensburg, Indiana that offers a variety of services that include; Primary Care and OB, Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery such as Orthopedics and Urology, Emergency Services, Women’s Care, Physical/Occupational Therapy and Sports Medicine, Senior Life Solutions, and one of the newest additions, the retail Pharmacy.
These and more services are due in part to the Hospital Foundation of Decatur County’s capital campaign efforts.  The Hospital Foundation made their roots in 1992 to provide additional financial support to the growth of DCMH.
One of those initiatives, Cancer Care services at DCMH, has a history of outstanding service to the community.  In 2016, thanks to the support of the Hospital Foundation’s capital campaign, Cancer Care has relocated to its new center on the 4th Floor of the East Tower of DCMH.  With convenient access, the facility also offers cancer patients and their loved ones a new level of comfort and care. In addition, our Cancer Care offers additional services to the community, such as the Outpatient Infusion Center that includes medications and blood products.  It is our mission to provide patients with the most compassionate and advanced cancer care in our region. We are committed to providing the utmost comfort and convenience to our patient. “The enhanced Cancer Care services have taken our facility to a new level.  We look forward to supporting and developing more programs to improve the health of our community” stated Bryan Robbins, Director of the Hospital Foundation of Decatur County.
DCMH continues to focus efforts on improving access to care by ensuring patient needs are met with convenient scheduling options, access to specialty care within our community, and offering advanced technology to support diagnostic needs.
Today’s healthcare consumer expects state of the art imaging services close to home.  DCMH meets this need by offering the latest imaging and mammography technology and exceptional service to patients.  The radiology/imaging department was twice voted one of America’s Top 25
“Connected” facilities by the Health Imaging and IT Magazine.  The department is supported by a full time board certified radiologist and highly qualified professionals supporting the medical staff.
