Improving the patient care experience has become a top priority for health care organizations nationwide. As health care costs continue to rise, enhancing the patient experience in health care offers providers a way to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve operational performance. Patient experience Press Ganey surveys are one of the most effective tools for measuring, understanding and ultimately improving the patient care experience. A well-designed patient survey can provide an organization with remarkable clarity into the patient experience, highlighting what is working well and where focused attention and resources can dramatically improve patient experience and the quality of patient care. DCMH encourages all patients who receive a survey to complete it and send back to Press Ganey.
