Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH) is committed to supporting the next generation of professionals by providing valuable job readiness opportunities. On April 30, DCMH’s Human Resources Department and Rex McKinney, CEO/President of DCMH, conducted student interviews at South Decatur High School (SDHS), helping students gain hands-on experience and insight into the job application process.
DCMH conducts these job readiness interviews several times a year at South Decatur High School, offering ongoing opportunities for students to gain insight and hands-on experience.
“We’re excited to collaborate with South Decatur High School to offer students an opportunity to practice their interviewing skills in a real-world setting,” said McKinney. “These students are the future of our community, and providing them with early exposure to professional environments is crucial to their development.”
“We’re grateful to DCMH for taking the time to meet with our students,” said Amy Cockburn, Principal of South Decatur High School. “This experience not only builds confidence but also equips them with the skills they need as they prepare to transition into their careers.”
DCMH is proud to be a part of local efforts to foster job readiness and career development for the youth in our community.
