Emily and Luke Sweet rang in the new year by welcoming their daughter, Carolyn Sweet, the first baby born at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in 2024.
The Sweets are from western Indiana and delivered their daughter slightly early while visiting the area.
As the first child born in 2024, the Sweets received gifts including a hand-made blanket, hand-made hats, a diaper bag filled with items, and several DCMH items for the entire family.
